Full-Featured HTTPS Client
The Cerberus HTTPS web client file transfer feature allows any user on a desktop or mobile web browser to easily connect to your organization’s file server and share files or perform file operations (drag & drop file and folder uploading, downloading, deleting, renaming, creating directories, and zipping and unzipping files and directories).
Mobile-Friendly
Runs on any modern mobile device and allows users to upload, download, and share files just as easily as on a desktop browser.
Public File Sharing
Allows a user to take any file or folder and generate a unique, time-limited, public link to that item and share it with anyone.
Customizable Web FTP Server
Install and host the Cerberus FTP Server HTTPS web client on-premise using your own infrastructure, or utilize cloud providers such as AWS or Azure. Either way, you have complete control over your file server, resources, and data.
Easy to Use
The web client is a native web application that requires no plug-ins or external tools to use. It relies on HTML and Javascript for all of its functionality.
Your Own Brand
Easily customize the web client to show your company’s name and logo.
Support HTTPS Web Transfer from Any Device
The HTTPS web client provides authentication support and security for multi-device environments through two factor authentication using either an HOTP-compliant one-time password application like Google Authenticator, or direct integration with DUO Security. Additional protections like reCAPTCHA and automatic IP blocking help prevent against brute force account attacks.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Two Factor Authentication using HOTP-compliant one-time password applications, or direct integration with DUO Security.
FIPS 140-2 Cryptography
Optional setting enables encryption using only FIPS 140-2 certified algorithms.
Self-Service User Accounts
In addition to our User Manager’s AD and LDAP integration, Cerberus FTP Server’s HTTPS web client streamlines user account provisioning by allowing users to submit their own account requests and create or update their own passwords (subject to your password policy rules) rather than rely on administrator creation. With automatic notifications any time a user request is submitted, the UI provides an easy way for admins to review requests and approve or deny account creation.
Better Account Creation
Easily review new account requests. Customize accounts during the approval process and automatically send an approval or denial email to the end user.
Enhanced Security
Security features like reCAPTCHA help prevent automated form submissions by bots. End users choose their own secure password so that you don’t have to.
